OUR MISSION
NSLS is an organization dedicated to helping people discover and achieve their goals. It encourages members to explore their impact on the community and encourage action so that impact is positive. Founder Gary Tuerack shared his thoughts, “We are dream supporters – we build leaders, support people in achieving their dreams, and better the world in the process.” The question our members should be asking themselves is, “Are we helping the greatest number of people in the greatest way?” And the answer can always be found in ourselves.
OUR VALUES
NSLS seeks those who exhibit integrity, potential, community involvement, academic excellence, and community service. The three letters ΣΑΠ each represent a pillar of NSLS: Σ: Success, Α: Action, and Π: Purpose. Members of NSLS are driven by a passion for helping people become aware of their dreams and ability to attain them.
OUR COMMUNITY
Bradley's chapter of NSLS is the largest non-for-profit organization at the University. We have hosted community service events, social events, leadership speakers, fundraisers, and have collaborated with numerous other Bradley groups and Peoria organizations. Our members have gone on to law school, medical school, graduate school, and hundreds of influential jobs across the nation and the world. Our members have led athletic teams, greek houses, religious groups, student senate, service organizations, and special interest groups.
